WANT TO JOIN US IN FRENCH POLYNESIA?

You should plan on spending at least 7 days on Sophie, not including travel time or any quarantine restrictions that may be in effect. (Click on the Travel Restrictions link below for details on travel to French Polynesia.)

First, you will need to get to Papeete, Tahiti.  From there, you will join us at an island or atoll that Sophie can access (we need to anchor and dinghy over to come and get you!).  The local airline, Air Tahiti, flies between many of the various islands and atolls.  However, not all islands or atolls have flights daily, some not even weekly, so it will be a bit of a puzzle that you will need to solve to get to us.

Good question.  We need an island with an airport that also is accessible by sailboat.  That means somewhere we can safely anchor and dinghy over to come and pick you up.

The map below shows you which islands and atolls have airports that are accessible to us.  So, combine where we are, where is the nearest island or atoll with an accessible airport and voila, you’re in paradise!
